The 401C is a simple but durable twist lock vacuum attachment cup for prepreg, clamping, and wet layup vacuum bagging operations. Simply slide the bottom piece under the vacuum bag and then put a small slit in bag and attach top piece by inserting the bayonet through the hole and twisting it shut.
Features a 1/4" Male NPT nipple that a Quick Disconnect or barbed fitting can be attached to.
Can be used up to 500F.
Other vacuum valves available by special order, please contact us.
AQD 500 TF Quick Disconnect Assembly. The AQD Coupler is self sealing so that when you un-join the couple both sides seal shut to maintain vacuum. This is handy for moving parts under vacuum from work area to oven or autoclave. Suitable for temperatures up to 500F.
Threaded with 1/4" Female NPT. Will fit directly on 401C vacuum cups and 59R hose.
If you don't measure the vacuum you won't know what is really going on under the bag. Economically priced gage features a 1/8" Male NPT nipple. Can be mounted on a 401C vacuum cup using a 1/8" NPT to 1/4" NPT coupler. Coupler shown in picture is not included with gage.
The 1.7 gallon resin trap is designed to collect excess resin to protect your vacuum pump during vacuum bagging processes or to be used as a degassing chamber in order to removed trapped gasses from resins or silicones.
1.7 Gallon Resin Trap/ Degassing Chamber includes 3/8" O.D. barbed fittings and vacuum gauge.
The 1.7 gallon resin trap features a clear top so that you can observe what is happening during degassing or how much material has entered the resin trap.
The catch pot is stainless steel and mold release can be applied to it to facilitate clean up or a liner cup can be inserted before use to catch any excess resin. Our 5 quart plastic bucket fits nicely inside of this catch pot by trimming off the rim around the top.
Barbed fittings are fastened to the lid with 1/4 pipe thread and can be removed and replaced with other fittings as desired, for example if using it as a degassing chamber one of the barbed fittings can be removed and replaced with a ball valve to relieve pressure after degassing.
