West System 423 Graphite Powder is a fine black powder that can be mixed with epoxy to produce a low-friction exterior coating with increased scuff resistance and durability. Epoxy/graphite is commonly used as a low-load, low-speed bearing surface, as a coating on rudders and centerboards, or on the bottoms of racing craft that are dry sailed. It does not provide antifouling qualities. The epoxy/graphite mixture cures to a black color.
Add to mixed resin/hardener at the rate of 10% by volume or 1.5 tablespoons per 8 fl oz. of epoxy. 12 oz can of 423 will modify approximately one gallon of epoxy.
WEST System 403 Microfibers Adhesive Filler, is a fine fiber blend. Use it to thicken epoxy blended resin/hardener and create a multi-purpose adhesive. It’s most popular use is for bonding wood. Epoxy thickened with microfibers has good gap-filling qualities but will still do an excellent job of wetting-out/penetrating into wood fibers. You can blend it into any WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin/20X Hardener combination, G/flex Epoxy 650, or G/5 Five-Minute Adhesive. Blended with epoxy, it will cure to an off-white color.
WEST System 404 High-Density Adhesive Filler is an epoxy thickening additive. We developed it for maximum physical adhesive properties in hardware bonding, or anywhere that high-cyclic loads are anticipated. Blended with epoxy, it makes an excellent gap filler or structural fillets. Use 404 High-Density wherever you need an especially strong bond. WEST System 405 Filleting Blend Adhesive Filler is a strong, wood-toned epoxy filler. Add it to your epoxy mix when making epoxy joints and fillets on naturally finished wood. It mixes easily with epoxy. This product helps you create smooth fillets that will need only a little sanding. Its color is a consistent brown. 405 Filleting Blend can be blended with other WEST SYSTEM Fillers to modify the shade of your epoxy mix. You can blend it into any WEST System 105 Resin/20X Hardener combination, G/flex Epoxy 650, or G/5 Five-Minute Adhesive.
WEST System 406 Colloidal Silica is an epoxy thickening additive used to control the viscosity of the epoxy. It prevents epoxy runoff in vertical and overhead joints. This is a very strong filler. It creates a smooth mixture, ideal for general epoxy bonding and filleting. It is also our most versatile epoxy filler. Often used in combination with other fillers, 406 can be used to improve strength, abrasion resistance, and consistency of epoxy fairing compounds. The result is a tougher, smoother surface.

WEST System 407 Low-Density is a blended microballoon-based fairing filler for WEST System Epoxy. Add 407 to a mixture of epoxy resin/hardener to create a fairing putty. It’s easy to sand or carve this putty once it has cured. Low-Density Fairing Filler filler is reasonably strong on a strength-to-weight basis. You can blend it into any WEST System 105 Resin/20X Hardener combination, G/flex Epoxy 650, or G/5 Five-Minute Adhesive. Blended with epoxy, it will cure to a dark red/brown color.
