Commonly refered to as 6oz glass, this is surfboard grade fiberglass, meaning that it is quality inspected to be free of both cosmetic and structural defects. This glass is finished with a silane finish to provide a perfectly clear laminate and is compatible with polyester and epoxy resins.
Suggested uses are for building surfboards, covering kayaks or canoes, or any application where you need a thin clear glass coating.
A typical surfboard layup is 2 layers of glass on the deck and 1 layer on the bottom.

1 1/4in. Leash Plug, White 1 1/4in. Leash Plug, White, these leash cups are our most popular and we have sold tens of thousands of them over the years.
Leash cup features concentric rings that create ledges to lock the leash cup into the board. Install the leash cup by drilling with a hole saw a hole slightly bigger than the diameter of the leash cup. Mix a small batch of putty with resin, cabosil, 3M bubbles or white pigment, and catalyst. Fill hole about 1/3 - 1/2 full with putty and insert cup. Clean off excess putty leaving putty slightly higher than the surface of the board so that as the resin cures and shrinks it will not shrink back below the level of the board. After the putty cures sand the putty and the cup level with the surface of the board.
